This is the index of my project archive. Like any archive, this archive has its fair share of human errors, because I am only human and the only person who manages it.

Material is entered into the archive when it is considered part of the project. However, items have been removed from the archive as I have learnt more about my topic. For example, as I became more aware of copyright and data protection, archival items which I believe violated these rules were removed.1 I also removed material I believed did not contribute enough to the research to minimise server space and energy consumption,2 and to prevent the archive from becoming an unwieldy repository akin to – “the dustbin of history.”3

I found it increasingly urgent to back up my archival items, given Jill Lepore’s observation that the average lifespan of a webpage is about 100 days.4 This urgency was further  underscored by the cyber attack on the British Library in October 2023.5
